GeoPave offers a full turn-key stabilisation service to Contractors and Developers nationally. This approach allows all the potential benefits to be achieved from using the proprietary binders as the full turnkey service can be taken on in-house by professionals who are experienced in using the Proprietary Binders to their full potential.
This approach is aimed at giving the client the confidence that the job is being constructed to its maximum potential and therefore minimizing costs, carbon footprint and material to landfill whilst producing a structure that has an end performance that is equal to or above what could be achieved through traditional methods.
GeoPave will offer a design package to construct the capping; sub-base and base layers for a project.
From the ground Investigation Report and site drawings Geopave will be able to establish which stabilized materials and Hydraulically Bound Mixtures will best meet the requirements of the scheme and give the best end performance and savings compared to traditional methods. A full test suite of UKAS accredited laboratory tests will be provided to the Client to verify that the stabilized materials and Hydraulically Bound Mixtures meet the design specifications.
Geopave will construct the above capping, sub-base and base layers using the Proprietary Binders. All of these layers will be constructed to the relevant SHW 600 and/or 800 Series and BS EN 14227 standard.
The addition of the Proprietary Binders will aim to be achieved on-site using raw materials from our local quarries. This will help minimise transport, job time and carbon footprint:
Once the raw materials have been delivered to the job site from the local Geopave quarry they will be placed at the relevant layer depths to create the capping; sub-base and base layers required for the structure at the job site. After each layer is laid Geopave will level and compact the layer to the requirements of the Client. Geopave offers a full surfacing process in addition to this to provide the full turn-key approach:
Throughout the process Geopave will test the stabilised materials and Hydraulically Bound Mixtures to ensure that they are meeting the required specifications and performance requirements. This includes
While the job is underway continuous testing will be undertaken. Material will be regularly sampled and sent off-site for testing by a UKAS laboratory.
In-situ testing will be undertaken using the Lightweight Deflectometer or equivalent to ensure that the required end performance strengths have been achieved. Again this will be undertaken by a UKAS accredited laboratory.
This gave us a massive advantage against the competition which in turn led us to securing this large works package.
